Yoruba Youth Parliament honours Amb Adekunle Badmus as ‘Yoruba Youth Ambassador’
1 min readIn recognition of his contribution towards the promotion of peace, culture, unity, education and youth development, the Yoruba Youth Parliament (YYP) has honoured the Managing Director, Goodmus Learning Centre, Ambassador Adekunle Badmus with the Yoruba Youth Leadership Award known as ‘Yoruba Youth Ambassador’.
Speaking at the award ceremony held in Lagos today, the Speaker, YYP, Olaleru Folorusho said the body deem it fit to honour Amb. Badmus as a result of his efforts in the promotion of peace regarding ethnicity and religion.
“Amb. Badmus is a nationalist and pathfinder. It is also in recognition of his role in giving directions to youths, his promotion of educational and humanitarian advancement, and community service” said Folorusho.
According to Folorusho, Amb. Badmus’s passion for humanity, dedication to youth development and strict adherence to constitutionalism over the years has made YYP to honour him.
While commending YYP for the award, Amb. Badmus said the award is a call to service and more work which he is committed to.
Yoruba Youth Parliament (YYP) aka (Apejopo Egbe Odo Ile Yoruba) is a youth-led, youth-driven initiative established as a uniting factor among the youths. Her mission is to build a network among Yoruba to promote Yoruba culture and traditions through activism, education, empowerment and collaboration.
